For First time in the sector of Chemical, DOL and SPL are in  such position to become more strong due to anti dumping duty. Their production rate is double due to the excess demand and these two hydrogen producers are in very strong position.

Hydrogen Peroxide is a basic raw material, which is used in textile industry and is in short supply from local producers. Local demand of hydrogen peroxide is about 80,000 ton while it is produced locally 60,000 ton when there is normal condition of the industry. Keeping in view load shedding, break down, maintenance break down and gas load shedding, production reduced by 30 percent while because of monopoly local industries have inceased prices from Rs.30 per kg to Rs.70 per kg within three months. On the other hand, exporters are unable to import Hydrogen peroxide die to anti dumping duty, only Korean origin goods available in the market.
